Yamanba

Yamanba is probably one of  the craziest looking street styles I’ve ever seen. Originating from the japanese Gyaru fashion/lifestyle Ganguro;  seen as a youthful rebellion against traditional japanese society, Yamanba/Manba is the most extreme version of the style. Yamanba means “mountain hag” or “mountain witch.” Although the style is a rarity these days, I thought it’d be interesting so share.

On a side note, I drew this on Sunday during the earthquake that rocked Souther California/Mexico for a good minute or so.
