It’s going on my fourth day here in japan and it’s soooo hot and humid in Tokyo. I knew it was supposed to be hot but I didn’t imagine it’d be this bad. The weathers been hovering around 88F during the day, which sounds bearable but…the humidity is the real killer. Walking around outside is like being in a constant sauna.
After a few days in Tokyo, I decided to take the train to Kamakura to go and do the tourist thing. Kamakura is a town surrounded by forests/hills and it’s a popular tourist spot because of all the Shinto/Buddhist shrines scattered around it. The buddhist shrine it’s most famous for is Daibutsu, where there is a 30ft statue of Buddha.
